The Blackhawk USB2000 JTAG Controller is a small and lightweight controller designed for the unique requirements of the Texas Instruments (TI) TMS320C2000 developers. Bundles with Texas Instruments' Code Composer Studio for C2000 (TMDSCCS2000-1, TMDSCCS-MCUxxx), this tool delivers the best price performance.

Built upon the advanced technology of the highly-popular USB510, this 3rd generation controller achieves the cost/performance balance required by the C2000 development community. The compact controller pod requires no external power source. Power is derived directly from the PC’s USB port.

Optional isolation adapters are available to protect this tool and the attached PC from ESD and ground loops in harsh environments.

The free "FlashProg" utility can be used with the USB2000 emulator in production where Code Composer is not required to be installed. Any C2000 device with on-chip flash can be programmed from either a command line or an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI).
